Taurasi - Aglianico - Taurasi, IT 17+
 
Crazy bold wine with extrememely exaggerated characters of ripe black plum and steweed blackberry. Decent acidity. Shrewd sense of oak, sisplays itself in the way of vanilla wafer and dark chocolate. Rich mouthfeel. Some nice acidity to cut through the mess. Nice earth character reminiscent of potting soil and compost. Limestone. Balanced tannin. Could use less oak.
